About the position

The Financial Management Analyst, Journeyman position at Precise Systems involves providing essential support for budget development, execution tracking, and the management of financial documents within various Navy and DoD electronic data systems. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to improve business processes and assist in financial decision-making for programs related to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for budget development and execution tracking.
• Generate and track financial documents using Navy and DoD electronic data systems.
• Document and propose business process improvements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Collect, compile, organize, and interpret financial information for funding recommendations.
• Create and maintain financial information within program briefings.
• Plan and execute funding in the Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT).
• Monitor execution, benchmarks, and carry-over funding, providing recommendations for obligation and expenditure goals.
• Attend IPT meetings to contribute to financial management decision-making.
• Support management activities, corporate initiatives, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Three to ten years of combined experience in financial management duties.
• Experience with Navy-ERP and financial analysis of business programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Understanding of the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process.
• Ability to work independently.
