About the position

The Financial Management Analyst position at the US Naval Special Warfare Command involves serving as the command's Defense Travel System (DTS) Administrator and Travel Card Agency Coordinator. The role requires expertise in travel-related functions, oversight of travel program compliance, and management of invoice reconciliation. The analyst will also develop and implement travel program business rules and provide training and guidance to command personnel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Defense Travel System (DTS) Administrator and Travel Card Agency Coordinator (APC).
• Act as the subject matter expert for the Defense Travel System and Defense Agencies Initiative system.
• Provide Help Desk support for all travel-related functions.
• Assist the Travel Manager with audits and inspections to ensure compliance with business process narratives and regulations.
• Oversee and manage the Centrally Billed Account invoice reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop, implement, and sustain the command's travel program business rules and operating procedures.
• Provide guidance and training related to travel policies and programs.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
• Must achieve Financial Management Level II certification within prescribed timelines.
