About the position
The Financial Management Analyst position at the Naval Air Systems Command involves performing and advising on various phases of budget administration, particularly in relation to Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The role requires developing and disseminating FMS budgets, preparing financial management reviews, and coordinating with international leadership on financial management issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
- Develop and disseminate Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Administrative and/or Case budgets.
- Prepare Financial Management and Case Reconciliation Reviews.
- Coordinate with international IPT leadership on daily basis regarding FMS financial management and overall budget/financial program status.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
- Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Achieve Financial Management Level 2 certification within prescribed timelines.
