Responsibilities

• Assist in the formulation of budget and estimates.
• Review and evaluate budget requests.
• Control and report obligations and expenditures.
• Provide information about and interpret budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures.
• Perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative functions related to accounting systems.
• Conduct analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with resource management.
• Perform various fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must obtain and maintain a current Financial Management Level I certification.
• Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance.
• Experience applying knowledge of financial oversight, budget formulation, and budget execution.
• Experience analyzing and evaluating changes in program plans and funding.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or equivalent graduate education in a related field.
• Experience in federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.
