Responsibilities

• Perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
• Analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management.
• Select and use various analytical techniques related to agency programs with varying goals.
• Develop proposals concerning alternative methods, sources, and timing of financing for substantive programs.
• Monitor budget execution to ensure compliance with the DoD Financial Management Regulation.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Experience with valid budget formulation and appropriate use of Navy Working Capital Funds (NWCF).
• Ability to monitor budget execution and present performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align customer requirements with program budget plans.
• Proficiency in utilizing the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) or related automated financial systems.
