• Analyze costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management.
• Resolve a range of budgetary problems, including the development of alternative funding methods.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience in developing budgetary policies and practices.
• Ability to present budget estimates before authorities.
• Master's or equivalent graduate degree in Finance or Accounting, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education.
• For GS-11, one year of specialized experience in reviewing budget requests and providing advice on fund acquisition.
• For GS-12, one year of specialized experience in implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
