About the position

The Functional Lead specializing in ERP Procurement and Sourcing plays a crucial role in guiding the modernization of a large client's financial management system. This position involves leading discovery sessions, analyzing current procurement processes, and advising on best practices and solution architecture for Cloud ERP systems. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that procurement functions align with broader financial management needs, while also providing hands-on leadership and expertise in optimizing procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the discovery, current state analysis, requirements gathering, and future state definition of a client's financial management system modernization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Cloud ERP Procurement and Sourcing, advising clients on solution architecture and process optimizations.
  • Develop detailed functional and technical documentation for the client enterprise procurement function.
  • Conduct multiple discovery workshops with client procurement stakeholders to understand existing processes and unmet needs.
  • Support analysis of existing procurement technologies and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other functional discovery teams to align Procurement processes with broader Financial Management needs.
  • Serve as the primary advisor and trusted consultant to clients in the Procurement functional area.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations to educate clients on Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with ERP implementations and consulting, focusing on ERP Procurement.
  • Experience leading discovery and requirements gathering for the procurement process function.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience on Cloud ERP solutions implementation, specifically in Procurement.
  • Understanding of Vendor Management.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional ERP and/or financial certification is preferred but not required.
