The Financial Office Professional I/II position is an entry-level role within the County of Santa Barbara, designed to support various departments in fiscal record keeping, accounting, budgeting, and financial management. The ideal candidate will develop essential skills while contributing to the financial operations of the county.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine fiscal recordkeeping tasks.
  • Post and adjust journal entries.
  • Balance accounts and maintain ledgers.
  • Process claims and prepare daily/monthly reports.
  • Perform basic clerical and fiscal duties as needed.

Requirements
