At Cars Commerce, we are dedicated to simplifying the car buying and selling process. As a Financial Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the billing and revenue recognition aspects of our revenue cycle. This position is essential for ensuring accurate and complete monthly customer billings, which directly impacts our financial health and operational efficiency. You will be a key contributor in improving our revenue business processes, leading to increased efficiency and the elimination of manual and non-value-added activities. Your responsibilities will include executing the billing processes for all billable transactions from start to finish, including the billing finalization processes within the PeopleSoft financial system. You will monitor and complete changes and updates to all customers' orders and account information prior to month-end billing, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all billing transactions. Collaboration is vital in this role, as you will work closely with internal customers to identify and resolve any billing issues that may arise. In addition to billing, you will analyze process workflows and business workflows, developing solutions to prevent delays, backlogs, and inefficiencies while minimizing internal control issues. You will also be responsible for system testing within our key financial systems, including SalesForce, Oracle CRM, and PeopleSoft. Your proactive approach will help identify business issues and quickly develop resolutions, contributing to our overall financial reporting and audit requests. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to analyze and solve complex problems independently. You will need to manage your time effectively, especially during the month-end close cycle and any project-based work that requires additional hours. Flexibility in working hours is a must, as you will be expected to adapt to the needs of the business.
