About the position

The Financial Operations Analyst at WIVERSE is responsible for managing various processes to ensure the accuracy of transaction records, financial processing, and control transaction processes within the JDE Property Management system. This role involves landlord account reconciliation, communication with landlords regarding contract terms, and ensuring data integrity in billing and payments. The position is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent status, requiring a hybrid work schedule with in-office days from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for landlord account reconciliation process, including reviewing the general ledger and associated sub ledgers to verify accuracy of payments or billings.
  • Recommend necessary adjustments and negotiate settlements with Property teams when necessary.
  • Interact with landlords via telephone, email, or other correspondence to explain contract terms and outcomes of account reconciliations.
  • Communicate solutions for overpayment collection and research various legal documents and contract terms.
  • Correspond with internal teams and external account holders to ensure accuracy in billing, payment, and overall data integrity.
  • Update JDE when data issues are identified, impacting billing, payments, and FAS13 financials.
  • Administer multiple recurring processes that impact monthly financials, requiring thorough review of data output and legal contracts.
  • Work on special accounts, data integrity reports, and projects that may fall outside normal processing.
  • Ensure all terms and conditions are accurate in JDE per the legal contract.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of accounting experience required.
  • Experience reviewing legal real estate contracts preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to comprehend legal documents and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and strong analysis and reporting capability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with JDE Property Management system (2 years preferred).
  • Experience with transaction records, financial processes, and control transactions (2 years preferred).
  • Experience with landlord account reconciliation process (2 years preferred).
  • Experience with impact billing, payments, and FAS13 financials (2 years preferred).
  • Experience with proper escalation, data, and billing corrections (2 years preferred).
  • Agility in handling tasks (2 years preferred).
