In addition to budget preparation, the Financial Operations Coordinator will prepare reports as requested by the Director of Budget and Finance, providing insights and updates on financial matters. Managing inventory and supply control for the County is another key responsibility, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and that the County operates within its budgetary constraints. The coordinator will also monitor federal and state grant funding and allocations, ensuring that the County maximizes its funding opportunities and adheres to grant requirements. The role involves preparing various financial documents, including check requests, purchase requisitions, and budget revisions, as well as correspondence as needed. Providing staff support for Finance Committee meetings is also a critical aspect of this position, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in financial operations or a related field.
  • Post-secondary academic degree, preferably an Associate or Bachelor's degree.
