About the position

At Goodr, we are on a mission to create and sell high-quality, affordable active sunglasses that are both functional and fun. As a Financial Operations Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our Money Department, which focuses on leveraging data to optimize financial processes, increase technology efficiencies, and drive business growth. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and enjoys bringing order to chaos. You will be responsible for coordinating and tracking the execution of tasks, monitoring project deadlines, and proactively renegotiating due dates as needed. Your ability to manage multiple projects and hold teams accountable will be key to your success in this role. In this position, you will ingest, assign, track, and manage incoming requests from other teams, while also improving and building processes to create more efficient workflows as we evolve and grow. Effective communication will be essential, as you will need to keep key role holders informed about the status of projects. You will be the ultimate control freak (in a good way), ensuring that our Money Department operates smoothly and efficiently. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and involves performing other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project coordinator for the Money Department, focusing on optimizing financial processes and driving business growth.
  • Coordinate and track the execution of tasks while closely monitoring project deadlines and proactively renegotiating due dates as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze team bandwidth to proactively assign tasks.
  • Ingest, assign, track, and manage incoming requests from other teams.
  • Improve upon and build processes to create more efficient workflows as the company evolves and grows.
  • Effectively communicate the status of projects to key role holders.
  • Manage processes for Finance, Business Intelligence, and Systems, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years proven working experience in project management.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, including the ability to create Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with project management software (Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Basecamp, etc.), with a major bonus for Asana.
  • Excellent at monitoring timelines to ensure deadlines are met and/or renegotiated as needed.
  • Finance or operations background is a significant plus.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • A self-starter who can prioritize and organize their workflow to coordinate multiple teams.
  • Dependable with a willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in ERP systems and/or familiarity with data analytics.
  • A degree in a relevant field (not mandatory, but bonus points for unique degrees like Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law).
