The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst III is responsible for supporting financial planning, modeling, analysis, and forecasting within the healthcare sector. This role involves identifying financial trends, preparing reports, and assisting in operational performance analysis to drive improvement in financial strategies and influence the future of healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
• Identify and prepare reports on financial and budgeting trends.
• Assist in the analysis of operational performance.
• Gather and prepare recommendations on financial activities and plans.
• Conduct financial assessments and generate reports summarizing business data.
• Complete costing activities by identifying cost avoidance and recovery opportunities.
• Identify financial trends to improve financial performance and operational issues.
• Develop best-practice business models and analyze risk alternatives.
• Evaluate financial trends and data analysis reports for business units.
• Conduct research to assess the financial impact of strategies and initiatives.
• Create budgets and forecasts in accordance with business strategic initiatives.
• Conduct complex financial analyses and variance analysis.
• Assist with preparation of audit schedules and review of audit results.
• Analyze operational/financial performance for field operations.
• Determine the financial status of business partners and assess risk implications.
• Prepare reports for region/business unit leaders on strategic fiscal matters.
• Perform and evaluate financial, utilization, and benchmark analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience or directly related business experience.

Nice-to-haves

• One (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• One (1) year project management experience.
