Formulated Solutions is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team in Largo, FL. This full-time position is pivotal in providing comprehensive financial analysis and insights that will support strategic decision-making and enhance business performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate findings to various stakeholders, ensuring that the analysis aligns with business needs and meets the expectations of private equity stakeholders. In this role, the FP&A Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models that facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. The analyst will analyze financial performance through variance analysis and trend identification, supporting the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. The position also involves providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on thorough financial analysis. The FP&A Analyst will prepare and present monthly, quarterly, annual, and trailing twelve months (TTM) financial reports, as well as develop 18-month rolling forecasts by consolidating inputs from various sources and functions. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational performance is essential, along with conducting ad-hoc analyses to support business initiatives and strategic projects. The analyst will also assist in preparing materials for board meetings and investor updates, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements and private equity expectations. Additionally, the role includes creating and updating financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning, performing scenario analyses to assess the impact of potential business decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and operational issues. The FP&A Analyst will support cost management initiatives and profitability analysis while identifying opportunities for process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance financial reporting and analysis efficiency.
