About the position

As a Financial Analyst specializing in modeling and process improvement, you will play a critical role in enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around financial modeling, analysis, and the implementation of process improvements to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze historical data, forecast future trends, and support decision-making processes.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques and financial software to build accurate and dynamic models that simulate various scenarios and outcomes.
  • Perform sensitivity analyses and stress testing to assess the impact of different variables on financial performance.
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in financial processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements that streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Conduct reviews and audits of existing processes to identify areas for optimization and automation.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate key findings, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of process improvements and financial strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the financial feasibility of new projects and initiatives.
  • Provide decision support through scenario analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, process improvement, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, and EPM systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
