About the position

Sparus Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A) to support the finance team in managing financial operations and decision-making processes. The role involves leveraging expertise in financial analysis, KPI identification, data analytics, and strategic planning to optimize performance and contribute insights for strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to senior business leaders in managing day-to-day financial operations and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiencies.
• Generate and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and provide insights on business performance.
• Conduct ad hoc reporting to address specific business needs and support decision-making.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and planning exercises.
• Work closely with Line of Business (LOB) leaders to facilitate budget discussions and provide data-driven insights.
• Communicate financial performance effectively to support strategic planning and budgeting efforts.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, executives, and other departments.
• Hold team members accountable to commitments they make, ensuring timely delivery of tasks and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience in creating KPI measurement frameworks and data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
