About the position

The Financial Planning Product Support Specialist at RightCapital is a full-time role focused on assisting Financial Advisors in utilizing the company's innovative financial planning software. This position is ideal for individuals looking to enter the financial planning and technology industry, providing extensive training and support to ensure success in helping clients create effective financial plans. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, with a commitment to maintaining a high level of service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Financial Advisors by answering a variety of in-depth questions on RightCapital's financial planning software.
  • Manage a large workload of inbound chats and phone calls to aid Financial Advisors in their understanding of the platform.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and submit tickets to our aggregation provider and follow through to resolution.
  • Expand your financial planning and product knowledge through ongoing coaching sessions with our Training Team.
  • Work closely with our Product Support Leads to further develop your research, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Stay up to date with frequent product enhancements and new features by participating in training sessions, reading help center materials, and testing functionality.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a client services/customer service/support role preferred.
  • Financial services experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree (in fields such as Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information to solve problems; willing to look for efficiencies that can be made to improve the customer experience and internal processes.
  • Motivated self-starter who can effectively interact with team members.
  • Organized with strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with MAC iOS preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • FINRA Securities Industry Essential (SIE) or similar is a plus.
