About the position

Checkr is seeking a Financial Planning & Strategy Sr. Analyst, Go-to-Market to play a pivotal role in driving strategic business initiatives and delivering critical insights to company leadership. This position is designed for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth, and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a quantitative, data-driven mindset and demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Comfort in interacting with all levels of senior management, including VP, SVP, and C-suite executives, is essential for success in this role. In this role, you will serve as the go-to financial partner for Operations leadership, taking ownership of budget management and reporting for the Go-to-Market organization. You will actively collaborate with leadership to identify and implement strategies that drive operational efficiencies. Your responsibilities will include delivering data-driven business insights focused on driving ROI across the Sales organization, owning sections of the monthly close financial reporting to the Executive team, and developing reporting and forecasting that provide a fundamental understanding of business drivers while offering actionable insights to improve performance. Additionally, you will assist in long-range and annual planning processes by defining strategic priorities, goals, OKRs, and investment areas.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to financial partner for Operations leadership.
  • Own budget management and reporting for the Go-to-Market Org.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement strategies that drive operational efficiencies.
  • Deliver data-driven business insights focused on driving ROI across the Sales organization.
  • Own sections of monthly close financial reporting to the Executive team.
  • Develop reporting and forecasting to understand business drivers and improve performance.
  • Assist in long-range and annual planning processes by defining strategic priorities, goals, OKRs, and investment areas.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategic Finance, BizOps, or RevOps.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS, especially usage-based business models or businesses with real COGS.
  • Expert-level forecasting and modeling ability.
  • Experience in identifying business insights through analytics and driving meaningful outcomes.
  • Experience with SQL, Looker (or other BI tools), and Salesforce or willingness to learn.
  • Strong interest in B2B business models and the broader market landscape.
  • Ability to cultivate collaborative working relationships and drive inclusive problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment that allows for autonomy and solving ambiguous problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with usage-based business models in B2B SaaS.
  • Familiarity with SQL and BI tools like Looker.
