About the position

TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal Government as a Financial Records Analyst (Asset Forfeiture Analyst). This position is primarily focused on candidates with experience in criminal investigative work related to seizure and forfeiture processes. It is important to note that this role is not primarily technical in nature. Candidates with prior banking experience or federal seizure/forfeiture experience will find their background particularly relevant, especially if they have experience analyzing banking records. In this role, you will assist the Government in ensuring the accountability and accuracy of fiscal records. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial documents such as deposit slips, obligations, transfers, and payment forms using templates provided by the Government. You will also be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring that information is accurately input into the Government database and properly filed upon receipt. Additionally, you will enter monetary assets and payment information into the Government database and assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation and inventory reports for cash and monetary instruments. The contractor will also assist in maintaining logs to track the movement of seized and forfeited monetary assets. Other duties may be assigned as needed and within the scope of this contract, making adaptability and attention to detail essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government with ensuring accountability and accuracy of Government fiscal records.
  • Prepare financial documents such as deposit slips, obligation, transfer, and payment forms using templates provided by the Government.
  • Maintain financial records to ensure that information is input into the Government database and filed appropriately once received.
  • Enter monetary assets and payment information into the Government database.
  • Assist the Government with monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation and inventory reports for cash and monetary instruments.
  • Maintain logs to track the movement of seized and forfeited monetary assets.
  • Perform other duties as needed within the scope of this contract.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Associate degree or two years of financial/data management work experience that demonstrates records management (along with a High School Diploma or GED Certificate).
  • Active Public Trust Tier 4a Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • One year of general work experience.
  • Able to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status and abide by contract/department's COVID-19 guidance when accessing any facility.
