Financial Reporting Analyst

The Finance/Accounting team is seeking out driven, detail-oriented professionals to exercise accounting principles while preserving the superior financial standing of our $15B company. The Financial Reporting Analyst will support both the accounting activities for IFRS accounting and reporting requirements of the company’s consolidated results.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the monthly consolidation of division financial statements
• Uploads and validates monthly statistical data
• Compiles weekly results, including loading corporate information and verifying division information has been loaded completely and accurately
• Assists with monthly and quarterly reporting
• Responds to audit inquiries
• Assists with the preparation of the semi-annual reporting pack to parent company
• Prepares US Census surveys
• Identifies and implements process improvements, efficiency opportunities, and cost saving initiatives while ensuring process quality
• Undertakes special projects and supports Corporate initiatives, as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, as well as solid organization and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with internal departments
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
