Financial Reporting Analyst

About the position

The Financial Reporting Analyst position at Robert Half is a short-term contract role within the Real Estate team. The analyst will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and coordinating SEC filings. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial reporting and enhancing processes through continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements for investors, adhering to GAAP guidelines.
• Coordinate the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-Ks, and supporting schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for financial reporting processes, including automation and system enhancements.
• Facilitate smooth and efficient annual audit processes through collaboration with external auditors.
• Strengthen relationships with stakeholders across departments, serving as a liaison between reporting and other business segments.
• Collaborate with marketing, portfolio oversight, and due diligence teams to prepare and analyze disclosures of portfolio metrics.
• Participate in training programs and opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Assist in technical accounting research related to the application and disclosure of accounting pronouncements and SEC guidance.
