About the position

The position is responsible for the origination of Interest Rate, FX, and Commodity derivative solutions for clients, working closely with various teams to deliver comprehensive solutions across multiple business lines. The role involves managing a small to mid-size team, driving revenue production, and developing strategies to meet group revenue expectations of $100-200 million.

Responsibilities

• Originate Interest Rate, FX, and Commodity derivative solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and other capital markets products to deliver solutions.
• Manage a small to mid-size team of originators and support staff.
• Handle all aspects of client interactions, including generating ideas and structuring derivative solutions.
• Develop and pitch marketing materials, directing and coordinating execution of transactions.
• Represent the company with fiscal, legal, regulatory, and trade entities.
• Work closely with credit risk management to ensure proper risk/reward balance of derivative transactions.
• Attract and retain top talent, mentoring and coaching junior staff.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• Licenses: Series 7, 63, and 24 (if supervisory principle)
• 15-18 years of related work experience
• Experience in leading the execution of a variety of client transactions
• Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and financial products
• Proven ability to develop and monetize 'trusted advisor' client relationships
• Advanced analytical and technical skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Excellent interpersonal style and communication skills
• Strong partnering and leadership skills in a complex environment.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA degree with a Finance focus
• 18-20 years of related work experience
• 5-10 years of management experience
• Experience with derivative products, including familiarity with ISDA documentation and derivative accounting.
