About the position

As a Financial Sales Manager at First Citizens Bank, you will focus on outbound calling activities to generate new business opportunities while managing sales efforts and associates in a boutique business branch. Your role includes overseeing office operations, developing business relationships, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead outbound sales and business development efforts to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop Centers of Influence (COIs) and leverage business relationships to generate new business.
  • Engage with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach.
  • Represent the Bank in the community to identify potential business opportunities and CRA opportunities.
  • Manage performance and personnel functions for a team, ensuring results that create value for customers and meet financial expectations.
  • Support associate development through ongoing coaching and mentoring.
  • Comply with all regulations, bank policies, and procedures to manage risk in customer interactions and transactions.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years experience in a sales, customer service, lending, or financial services role, including supervisory experience.
  • Or a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years experience in a sales, customer service, lending, or financial services role, including supervisory experience.
  • Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
