About the position

The Financial Service Analyst 3 position at UC Davis Health System is responsible for analyzing and managing data related to payroll timekeeping, attendance, and staff scheduling within the Perioperative Services division. This role involves working closely with the OR Staff Scheduler to assess staffing needs and provide support for electronic staffing systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. The incumbent will also participate in performance and quality improvement projects, demonstrating high accountability and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage payroll timekeeping data.
• Coordinate staff scheduling for the Operating Room.
• Manage employee leave of absence requests and coordination.
• Handle data management and reporting tasks.
• Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with timekeeping and electronic staff scheduling systems.
• Knowledge of payroll, FMLA/CFRA, and other leaves of absence.
• Experience in operations and staff scheduling in a large clinical department.
• Ability to handle confidential matters with tact and sound judgment.
