The Financial Service Representative plays a crucial role in the operations team at Argent Federal Credit Union, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing member relationships. This position is dedicated to maximizing the member experience by efficiently processing financial transactions and promoting various credit union services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full member relationships from account opening to service sharing.
• Maximize member experience by accurately processing financial transactions.
• Exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness in all interactions.
• Navigate multiple systems while interacting with members and processing transactions.
• Exercise active listening skills to understand member needs.
• Cross-sell credit union products, services, and promotions.
• Meet or exceed assigned job production guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service and/or cash handling is preferred.
• One year of experience as a credit union or bank teller preferred.
• Banking, financial, and cash handling background preferred.
• Ability to set priorities and multitask.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven record of providing both internal and external customer service.
• Attention to detail.
