About the position

The Financial Services Analyst 3 position at the University of California, Davis involves processing and servicing a variety of operational, personnel, and financial transactions. Responsibilities

• Process and service operational, personnel, and financial transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Oversee purchasing and recharge billing activities.
• Handle travel and entertainment accounting.
• Conduct data collection and data entry for financial reporting.
• Perform analysis and manage contracts and grants.
• Provide customer service and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area.
• 4 years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Thorough knowledge of financial processes, policies, and procedures.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet and database software.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Leadership skills to provide guidance and mentoring to staff.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of independent level finance and accounting experience.
• University financial experience.
