About the position

The Financial Services Credit Analyst role at Robert Half involves conducting comprehensive credit analyses, making informed credit recommendations, and monitoring the company's credit position and investment portfolio. The position requires ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory mandates while maintaining up-to-date credit procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research and analysis on new entities, sectors, and other related areas
• Collaborate with the financial analyst on pre-purchase and ongoing analysis of depositories, security issuers, specific securities, broker/dealers, and other entities
• Make informed credit recommendations and collaborate with executive management on credit decisions
• Maintain updated credit procedures and assist with policy review and necessary updates
• Attend internal asset/liability committee, enterprise risk management committee, and the credit committee in support of credit work and the credit risk function
• Monitor the company's credit position and investment portfolio for compliance with all policy and regulatory mandates
• Collaborate with staff on periodic reporting to evidence compliance for management and board of directors
• Recommend corporate credit relationships for inclusion on credit watch list
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role in the Financial Services sector
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to conduct comprehensive Cash Flow Analysis
• Familiarity with Collection Processes in financial services
• Extensive knowledge of Credit and Credit Application processes
