About the position

The position is responsible for delivering personalized customer service at First Interstate Bank's Jackson, WY Town Square branch. The role involves engaging in financial conversations with clients to assess their needs and provide suitable solutions, while also maintaining client relationships in line with the bank's service commitments and values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized customer service, in person and over the phone, answering client questions and offering solutions.
• Perform teller duties, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, processing loan payments, and counting currency accurately.
• Open and maintain various financial products such as checking and savings accounts, IRAs, and consumer credit cards.
• Engage in financial conversations with clients to determine their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Identify referral opportunities for Home Loans, Treasury Solutions, and Wealth Management, utilizing 360 View for documentation.
• Build client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up measures.
• Complete work accurately and timely, adjusting to work demands as necessary.
• Stay updated on regulation changes and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Exhibit personal initiative and serve as a positive example for others.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two plus (2+) years of banking or comparable experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Effective use of tact and diplomacy in client interactions.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and proficiency in Word/Excel software programs.
• Strong 10-key skills preferred.
