About the position

The Financial Services Representative II serves as an experienced front-line customer service associate at Enterprise Bank & Trust, responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers. This role involves account and service origination, supporting the teller line, and addressing customer inquiries both in person and over the phone. The representative is expected to build strong client relationships and assist in various banking operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients as they enter the lobby and answer incoming phone calls.
  • Open new accounts for commercial and consumer clients.
  • Make recommendations on bank products and services based on customer needs.
  • Contact new clients for onboarding activities.
  • Process consumer loan applications and closings, including NMLS licensing for consumer real estate loans.
  • Work with treasury management and commercial lenders to service commercial clients.
  • Perform all teller duties, including client transactions and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Balance ATM, Vault, Coin & Cash, and GL Accounts daily.
  • Follow dual control procedures and assist in opening and closing the branch.
  • Research and resolve client problems, acting as a liaison between clients and other bank departments.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  • Proactively call for prospects and prepare annual reviews for deposit-only clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years banking experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to think through decisions.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Familiarity with consumer loan applications and processes.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Bankway, Image Now, and Salesforce.
