About the position
This is a full-time position that involves modeling Q2 Service and Sales programs with creativity and energy to achieve goals and meet quality standards. The role requires building customer relationships by representing QNB in a courteous, confidential, and professional manner, providing prompt and efficient service in processing transactions through consultative selling and cross-selling. The Financial Service Representative will perform various functions, including accurately balancing cash drawers and Teller Cash Recyclers at the end of the day. Proficiency in all aspects of the Financial Service Representative role is essential, along with strong product knowledge and the ability to champion QNB's service and sales initiatives. The position also involves community support through participation in local volunteer and charitable organizations, and requires availability during all operating branch hours, including holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Models Q2 Service and Sales programs with creativity and energy.
- Builds customer relationships by representing QNB in a courteous and professional manner.
- Cross-sells deposit and loan products and refers customers to appropriate departments.
- Performs paying and receiving functions accurately and balances cash drawer/Teller Cash Recycler at the end of the day.
- Demonstrates strong product knowledge and champions QNB Service and Sales initiatives.
- Completes assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
- Supports community involvement through local volunteer and charitable organizations.
- Assumes additional job-related duties as requested.
Requirements
- Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively.
- Required training and product knowledge must be completed within the first 6 months.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 25-50 pound coin bags.
- Communication skills that model QNB's sales efforts.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills; completion of high school or equivalent.
- Must fulfill QNB compliance in operations and security.
- Must successfully complete Banking Fundamentals courses within the first 18 months.
- Must fulfill re-certification requirements for FSR annually.
- Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 may be required.
