The Financial Services Risk Transformation (FSRT) Analyst role at EY focuses on assisting global financial services firms with technology improvements in regulatory compliance areas. The position involves delivering solutions and projects that enhance IT systems and operational processes related to financial crimes risk management. Analysts will work in a client-serving capacity, contributing to regulatory remediation and technology improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of processes, solutions, and projects by researching and presenting relevant information.
• Accountable for delivering own work and meeting required targets impacting the immediate team.
• Identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces in various formats.
• Develop software components and services that interact with upstream and downstream components.
• Code, program, and create specifications to deliver development services that support business requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
• 1-2 years of work experience or knowledge in data analysis using structured or unstructured databases.
• 1-2 years of work experience in developing and managing ETL pipelines or workflows.
• 1-2 years of work experience in data model development, including query optimization techniques.
• 0-1 year of work experience in defining and analyzing technology business requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python and/or Java.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Exposure to ETL tools like Informatica or Alteryx.
