About the position

As the Financial Services Sales Representative at Lincoln Financial, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining business relationships with advisors who market our annuity products and services. This position is primarily consultative and phone-based, where you will respond to broker inquiries received via inbound calls. Your responsibilities will include answering questions related to product features, performance, literature requests, and providing hypothetical illustrations. You will receive comprehensive training to develop your skills and enhance your understanding of our annuity products, services, and operational structure, which will enable you to identify and target sales growth opportunities effectively. In this role, you will provide product and illustration sales support on Lincoln's offerings to assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers, and Plan Sponsor/Participants. Building and maintaining strong business relationships through effective communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions with both internal and external stakeholders is essential. You will also be responsible for identifying, recommending, and championing process improvements and organizational initiatives that positively influence the team and enhance the quality of service provided. This position requires exceptional communication and relationship management skills, as you will be working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that they have the necessary support to succeed in their roles. You will be expected to obtain several licenses within the first 120 days of employment, including the FINRA SIE License, FINRA Series 6 License, and FINRA Series 63 License, as well as Resident Life & Health insurance licenses, if required by the state. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and your commitment to providing excellent customer service will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
  • FINRA SIE License - must obtain within 120 Days
  • FINRA Series 6 License - must obtain within 120 Days
  • FINRA Series 63 License - must obtain within 120 Days (if required by State)
  • Resident Life & Health insurance licenses - must obtain within 120 Days
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required
