The Financial Services Tax - Real Estate Manager at PwC is responsible for advising clients in the asset and wealth management sector on their tax obligations, both locally and internationally. This role involves strategic consulting related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners, while navigating complex tax environments and providing insights on tax structuring and implications of real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on local and overseas tax affairs.
• Act as a strategic consultant related to business analysis and profit sharing.
• Help organizations understand pricing implications of goods and services between related parties.
• Provide advice on tax implications of deals.
• Manage operational tax risks and capital requirements for financial services clients.
• Develop new skills outside of comfort zone and coach team members.
• Analyze complex ideas and build meaningful recommendations.
• Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
• Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting.
• CPA, Member of the Bar, or other relevant credentials required.

Nice-to-haves

• Thorough knowledge of tax compliance methods for Real Estate Investment Trusts and Partnerships.
• Experience with partnership structures and their tax implications.
• Knowledge of automation and digitization in professional services.
