Technology is transforming tax, and Deloitte's Financial Services Tax Transformation practice is at the forefront of this movement. We leverage our extensive and growing portfolio of enterprise-class, proprietary applications to advise leading financial services organizations on process, data analytics, technology, and automation. As a Manager on our team, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with tax subject matter specialists to envision and design new features and products that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will work closely with software developers to develop and deploy these features and products, ensuring they align with client expectations and industry standards. In this position, you will be an integral part of client engagement teams, overseeing internal Deloitte tax team members and client users to plan and execute optimal application configurations and usage. Your day-to-day management of multiple engagements will involve direct interaction with clients and Deloitte teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also supervise national teams across our U.S. and U.S.-India offices, providing mentorship and development opportunities for consultants, senior consultants, and interns. This role requires you to actively participate in marketplace pursuits, meeting with prospective clients and demonstrating our technology portfolio to showcase our capabilities. Our Financial Services Tax Transformation practice serves a diverse range of financial services sectors, including banking, private equity, hedge funds, real estate funds, mutual funds, and insurance companies. As part of the National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) practice within Deloitte Tax LLP, you will contribute to a series of tax service offerings developed from tax planning ideas, marketplace needs, or technological innovations, all aimed at delivering exceptional results for our clients. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tax subject matter specialists to envision and design new features and products.
• Collaborate with software developers to develop and deploy features and products.
• Oversee internal Deloitte tax team members and client users to plan and execute on optimal application configurations and usage.
• Provide day-to-day management of multiple engagements, interacting directly with clients and Deloitte teams.
• Supervise national teams in both our U.S. and U.S.-India offices.
• Mentor and develop consultants, senior consultants, and interns, providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance.
• Actively participate in marketplace pursuits such as meeting with prospective clients and demonstrating our technology portfolio.
• Manage the operations and economics of projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in financial services tax compliance: banking, private equity, hedge funds, real estate funds, mutual funds, fund of funds, and insurance companies.
• Experience presenting to clients or other decision-makers for purposes of project delivery or sales pursuits.
• Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong executive presence and demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• One of the following active accreditations obtained: Licensed CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
• 5+ years' Big 4 experience using tax technology in financial services tax compliance.
• Proven leadership managing virtual teams including out of country offshore teams.
• Mastery of Alteryx, Power BI.
