About the position

The Financial Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst is responsible for leading and implementing complex finance transformation initiatives within the organization. This role involves managing a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery of regulatory and strategic commitments, and applying risk management skills. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to drive transformational objectives and establish governance frameworks for global finance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees Finance transformational efforts related to consent order and target state priorities, aligned with the firm-wide transformational goals
  • Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions
  • Develops and operates necessary governance forums and frameworks to drive transformational objectives and establish policies and standards for global Finance processes
  • Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization, and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations
  • Provides advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy
  • Manages a portfolio of Transformation programs/projects and project managers, oversees standardized planning and progress reporting
  • Highlights transformation progress to management across transformation metrics and success criteria
  • Regularly interacts with peers and senior management within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations
  • Assesses risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience within the financial services industry
  • Project Management, Transformation, Change Management, vendor management, Issue management, stakeholder management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the goals of the function
  • Communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • PMO Systems expert (project tracking and reporting automation tools)
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products/systems highly preferred
  • CPA / PMP preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
