As a Financial Systems Administrator, you will provide highly-skilled functional and technical expertise with regard to the Firm's financial systems, with a strong focus on the accounting system and reporting data-warehouse. Your role will involve supporting the implementation, upgrade, functional and technical maintenance of financial systems applications. You will assist and help manage projects for updates and improvements for financial system applications, ensuring that the systems are running efficiently and effectively. On any given day, you will coordinate and provide end-user training as necessary, developing training materials, user communications, and education documentation as needed. You will also identify and recommend production customizations and enhancements to improve system functionality. Responding to ad hoc reporting and inquiry requests will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with other duties and projects as assigned. Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, upgrade, functional and technical maintenance of financial systems applications.
  • Assist and help manage projects for updates and improvements for financial system applications.
  • Coordinate and provide end-user training as necessary.
  • Develop training materials, user communications, and education documentation as needed.
  • Identify and recommend production customizations and enhancements.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and inquiry requests.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • A college degree with coursework in accounting and technology fields desired.
  • 2-3+ years of experience with financial, accounting or related business applications.
  • Experience with Aderant Expert, Intellistat/Bighand, BillBlast, and Billstream a plus.
  • Strong command of SQL, SSRS, and PowerShell.
  • Experience working with API integrations.
  • Ability to design, develop, test, and implement applications, patches and updates.
  • General understanding of accounting and finance principles.
