About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Systems Analyst to join our finance systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tasks and maintaining our financial systems to ensure optimal performance and support financial reporting and analysis. You will work closely with various finance departments to streamline processes and enhance system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in our key financial systems while looking for areas of improvement or enhancements.
• Evaluate existing financial systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
• Assist in the implementation of new financial software and tools; provide ongoing support and training to users.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data; develop and maintain data models and reporting frameworks.
• Create and automate financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support decision-making processes.
• Work with IT, finance, and other departments to align financial systems with business needs and ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial systems analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, SQL, Excel); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in financial analysis (e.g., CFA, CPA) or project management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
