About the position

The Financial Systems Analyst at BayCare is responsible for providing systems support for financial applications and the Finance division. This role involves technical responsibilities such as system implementations, upgrades, configurations, and security, along with creating data queries and reports based on business needs. The analyst will also provide training on financial applications and act as a superuser for financial tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems support for financial applications and the Finance division.
  • Work on implementations, system upgrades, configurations, and system security.
  • Provide technical and application support for systems and applications.
  • Create data queries and reports based on customer and business needs.
  • Maintain system integrity and IS infrastructure through interface and general maintenance support from IS and vendors.
  • Identify process improvements and handle troubleshooting.
  • Provide training on financial applications to finance teams.
  • Act as a superuser of the financial tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or IS and 3 years as a super user or application support for finance team OR High School Grad/GED and 5 years of experience as a super user or application support for finance team.
  • Possess a mix of technical and financial knowledge from supporting or being a member of the finance team.
  • Detailed, flexible, and possess good communication skills to describe business processes to IS and IS processes to business.
  • Super user experience should include direct interaction with financial applications/teams and prior testing and participation in upgrades or implementations.
