About the position
The Financial Systems Business Analyst will collaborate with various business units to analyze and document current accounting processes, redesigning them into efficient technical solutions. This role involves working closely with technical teams to gather data requirements and configure accounting rules within the Workday system, ensuring compliance and effective reporting.
Responsibilities
- Work with business colleagues to understand and document their current accounting processes.
- Design new processes that fit into the framework of the Workday Accounting Center and Prism Analytics.
- Work with technical resources to secure data requirements.
- Assist with the configuration of the accounting rules and perform all testing of the new rules.
- Document data flow, configuration, and testing results to ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of financial solutions, particularly Workday.
- Ability to document and translate technical information into business procedures.
- Experience in performing results testing measures.
- Effective implementation of new systems and procedures.
