About the position

The Financial Systems Specialist/Data Analyst will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and training users on the Deltek Vantagepoint system. This role requires collaboration with the development team and external partners to ensure successful migrations and upgrades, as well as the creation of reports and workflows to enhance financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with the implementation team on Vantagepoint migrations.
• Respond to requests and advise on the appropriate action.
• Develop Power BI reports for Finance and Operations.
• Provide testing for Vantagepoint upgrades and communicate the changes to end users.
• Create/update approval workflows.
• Spearhead Firms cleanup in Vantagepoint.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years of finance experience with Deltek Vantagepoint including Fixed Assets, Procurement, CRM, and Resource Planning.
• Must understand Vantagepoint Workflows and Key Conversions.
• Experience coaching and training team members.
• Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment under short timelines and changing priorities.
• Proven track record of breaking down and solving complex problems with impeccable business judgment.
• Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
• Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output.
• Customer service oriented.

Nice-to-haves

• Minor in Information Technology or Systems preferred.
• SQL, Tableau, Alteryx experience preferred.
