About the position

The Financial Systems Support Analyst at JPI Companies is responsible for supporting and enhancing the company's financial systems, primarily focusing on Sage Intacct. This role involves working directly with end users, consultants, and vendors to implement and provide ongoing support for the system, ensuring effective troubleshooting, system optimization, and continuous improvement. The analyst will also manage system integrations, develop reports, and maintain compliance with financial controls, contributing to the overall efficiency of the financial services team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first level of support for JPI users of Sage Intacct, troubleshooting and problem-solving issues.
  • Manage maintenance of the Sage Intacct system and coordinate vendor support as necessary.
  • Document support requests using the company's ticketing software.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide key business insights.
  • Own Master Data Management in Sage Intacct and collaborate with Workday system admin to reconcile Master Data between systems.
  • Solution, configure, test, implement, and maintain enhancements leveraging subject matter expertise.
  • Maintain detailed task management for optimization of process, configuration, and reports in financial systems.
  • Conduct requirements gathering on new requests and identify, document, and communicate risks encountered on in-flight initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance to and effectiveness of financial controls, working with finance team leadership to continuously improve controls.
  • Participate in financial audits as necessary and maintain detailed process documentation and workflows.
  • Train and coach new and existing employees on software systems and procedures.
  • Create Q&A or knowledge articles for user self-service and perform user audits for business systems.
  • Maintain user accounts and permissions, conducting regular reviews with stakeholders on system performance and health.
  • Continuously interact with Sage Intacct Community and help lead the assessment of impact of new features/upgrades/updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • 3-5 years' experience implementing or supporting Sage Intacct (with administration and configuration capabilities) required.
  • Experience with Sage Construction Module required.
  • Understanding of data flows and data warehousing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional critical thinking and reasoning skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Sage Inventory Module preferred.
  • Exposure to real estate and construction project accounting practices preferred.
  • Experience in the management of technical people and support partners.
  • Adaptable to evolving business needs.
