Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Education.
  • Valid Teaching License issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
  • Five or more years of related experience.
  • Proof of prior success with coaching and facilitating adult learners.
  • Knowledge of the elementary core content curriculum.
  • Ability to access, analyze, and respond to data.
  • Proven expertise in school improvement, professional development, and/or organizational development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, IMPACT, Oracle, and Dashboard.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Evidence of successful leadership experience.
  • Evidence of successful classroom experience.
  • Proven track record in producing, managing, and monitoring academic activities and projects.
  • Proof of ability to plan and implement rigorous lessons relevant to students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to administrators and school teams in building Professional Learning Communities.
  • Participate in the development and monitor the implementation of curricular projects.
  • Observe teaching and learning, and review data to track and advance school improvement efforts.
  • Problem-solve and execute necessary actions for achieving area and school achievement goals.
  • Organize efforts and collaborate with the School Leadership Team to ensure timely completion of services and special projects.
  • Provide resources and training on research-based practices for curriculum and instruction improvement.
  • Model best practices for classroom application.
