About the position

As a Finish Supervisor at Ryobi Die Casting Inc, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production processes on the 2nd shift. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality of all production outputs by providing proper training and monitoring the work methods of employees. You will be tasked with meeting shipping schedules and working closely with the production team to address any issues that arise during sample runs and general production. This position requires you to establish manpower requirements to optimize production and cost ratios, ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively. In addition to managing production quality, you will set performance goals for group leaders and department personnel, conduct employee performance appraisals, and facilitate salary reviews. Your role will also involve identifying methods to improve productivity while maintaining or enhancing product quality. You will be responsible for performing special projects and other duties as assigned, which may include assisting in the documentation of employee records related to wages, attendance, and performance. Furthermore, you will help ensure that production continues smoothly during maintenance issues and assist in developing written manufacturing specifications to guide operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assure quality of all production through proper training and monitoring of employee work methods.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Two years production-related experience
  • Experience in finish operations (preferred)
