Responsibilities

• Assisting operators with creating steel ingots from scratch
• Preparing raw materials for the melting process
• Helping with the pouring and molding process
• Organizing launders with an overhead crane
• Moving materials via tow motor or overhead crane

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Machine operation or inspection experience is a plus
• Prior steel mill or industrial furnace experience
• Tow motor and crane experience
• Ability to read a tape measure

Nice-to-haves

• Remote crane experience (1 year preferred)
• Forklift experience (1 year preferred)
