About the position
The Finishing Technician at Quickparts is responsible for ensuring that each industrial 3D-printed part meets the highest quality standards through meticulous finishing processes. This role is crucial for delivering flawless, high-quality parts that enhance the company's reputation for excellence in on-demand manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Smooth and finish parts using various sanding techniques and tools to ensure surfaces are free of imperfections.
- Polish parts to achieve a high-quality finish, enhancing appearance and durability.
- Thoroughly inspect parts for defects, identifying and rectifying any issues.
- Maintain and care for all tools and equipment used in the finishing process, ensuring optimal condition.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, noting any discrepancies or issues encountered.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure finishing tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in sanding and finishing.
- Proficiency in using various finishing tools and equipment.
- An exceptional eye for detail to identify and address even the smallest imperfections.
- Strong problem-solving skills to efficiently address and correct issues during the finishing process.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
