About the position

The Finishing Technician role involves working in a global medical device manufacturing company, focusing on tasks related to the finishing and quality assurance of medical products. The position requires adherence to standard operating procedures and the operation of various production equipment to ensure the quality and conformance of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks as directed by SOPs, routers, work instructions, and schedules.
• Operate production equipment for basic deburr, finishing, and cleaning operations such as sandpaper, scotch brite, pencil grinders, bead blasters, tumblers, and heat treat oven.
• Perform packaging and other duties as needed.
• Conduct in-house checks using measuring devices and report findings.
• Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications.
• Adjust dimensions and tolerances as required.
• Rework production parts as necessary.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Train others as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0 - 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
