About the position

We are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our FIS Platforms team, focusing on building and launching our next generation Integrated Payables capabilities. This role is crucial in enabling our customers to manage their spending, payments, cash flow, and other critical workflows within the office of the CFOs. Operating like an incubated startup within FIS, the Integrated Payables team is supported by the company and is tasked with creating world-class financial technology products. As a Product Manager, you will be part of a fast-paced and dynamic group that prioritizes user experience and customer obsession. Your primary responsibility will be to drive an innovative set of features and capabilities across our accounts receivable and accounts payable products. You will play a key role in shaping the product culture and will collaborate closely with design, engineering, and other teams to launch high-quality products that meet our customers' needs. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing the strategic vision for your product portfolio, providing leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, driving product innovation through an experiment-based culture, and managing stakeholder relationships. You will also utilize data-driven decision-making to track product performance and identify areas for improvement, oversee the entire product lifecycle, and pursue strategic partnerships that enhance the product and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the product portfolio, aligning with business objectives, customer problems, and market trends.
  • Provide leadership and clarity in vision and direction to cross-functional teams and adjacent product management teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
  • Drive product innovation by identifying market opportunities, leveraging customer feedback, and staying at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Present product information and industry thought leadership to external audiences in webinars and client conferences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating effectively across the organization.
  • Utilize data, metrics, experimentation, and analytics to make informed decisions and track product and customer performance.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, continually optimizing based on customer needs and feedback.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships that enhance the product and contribute to overall business success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, focusing on leading successful product initiatives in innovative, ambiguous, complex, or fast-moving environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • A track record of innovation, creativity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fintech or financial technology products.
