Convergint Technologies is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Service Technician to join their team in Wenatchee, WA. This role involves servicing and programming fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with local and national codes, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Assist in the testing, programming, and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Service fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.
- Execute work in accordance with local and national codes and company policies.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to improve operations.
- Maintain awareness of company policies and present a professional image.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of experience as a fire alarm service technician, specifically with EST 3 or EST 4 fire alarm systems.
- Solid technical skills related to fire alarm systems and electronic security systems.
- Strong programming skills and troubleshooting abilities.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Nice-to-haves
- 2 years of hands-on experience in the commercial/industrial/low voltage/electrical industry.
- NICET II Certification in Fire Alarm.
- Washington EL06 License.
- Associates degree in Electronic technology or Instrumentation.
