About the position

The Fire Alarm Service Technician at Haig Service Corporation is responsible for servicing, testing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial fire alarm and security systems. This role requires a highly experienced technician with a focus on detail, teamwork, and effective communication. The technician will also be involved in troubleshooting and providing solutions to service department and client issues, while maintaining a professional demeanor and a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, test, and inspect commercial fire alarm and security systems.
• Perform maintenance on fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and develop detailed solutions for clients and service department.
• Communicate effectively with office staff, clients, and other technicians.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while on the job.
• Be flexible for on-call and after-hours service as needed.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in fire alarm systems.
• Valid Driver's License.
• FASA/BASA certification.
• Low voltage technician experience.
• National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certification (I or II) is a plus, but training will be provided if not certified.
