About the position

The Fire Alarm Technician at Impact Fire Services is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of fire alarm systems. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local fire protection codes while providing exceptional customer service. The technician will work within a collaborative team environment, contributing to the safety and protection of lives and property from fire hazards.

Responsibilities

• Provide fire alarm service, inspections, and installation calls.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
• Meet weekly service and productivity goals.
• Inspect, service, install, and perform maintenance on fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Requirements

• Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
• Prior fire alarm experience in installations, inspections, and servicing codes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and desire to mentor and pass on knowledge to all levels of trainees.
• Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the fire protection/fire alarm industry or commercial customer service.
• Background working as a licensed electrician.
